Possible to generate text compare report with line number and character number?

Is it possible to generate text compare report with line number and character number where difference occurs?
I am comparing 2 text files and just need this information in the output report file.

Hello,

The Text Report has an option to display the line number, but does not contain a character position or character count. Each pair of lines could potentially contain multiple differences.

In the Text Compare Report dialog, the "Include Line Numbers" option would add the line numbers to the report.

Thanks Aaron, is there a way to export the report as csv or excel?

If you output the report as HTML, you can open the HTML file in Excel, then save it as an Excel file.
