  • Trying to sync from Mac to Win7 and concerns

I have BC running on my Mac under Crossover.

I am trying to update my digital photos to the large drive on the windows machine. I always have my Mac on the Left, Win on the right on BC compares.

Folder on Mac <-----> Shared folder on Win7

As seen in the first image below, there are a couple files missing. I have file compare set to no equal.

Now my concern is, when I go to the win7 machine and do the same compare

Shared folder on Mac <----> Folder on win7

I get the compare in the 2nd image, where all files are there.

Why are the two BC showing different compare results for the same two folders being compared?

I did full refresh on both of these views prior to taking the screen shots.

    Thanks,
    Duane

On the Mac, if you load that z:\ location in Finder, do the files appear there?

If you perform a Full Refresh (Ctrl+F5, or from the Edit menu) in BC3 running on the mac, does this cause the files to appear on the right side?

When I open the location on the mac through the finder, the files are there. When I look on the win7 machine, they are there. When I do a full refresh on the Mac, it shows them missing....

Could you email us at [email protected] with a pair of BCSupport.zip files (one from the Mac install, one from the Windows install), generated from the Help menu -> Support; Export?

Also, please include a link to this forum thread in your email.

Lastly, which version of OSX are you currently running, and which version of CrossOver?

          Thanks Aaron.

I have submitted the email as detailed. Versions and zip files showing the discrepancy.

          Thanks,
