  • Incompatible with Retina displays

I have a MacBook Pro Retina and use Parallels in high-DPI mode to run windows, however I find that my favourite comparison tool doesn't scale well at all. I can live with tiny icons, but the scrollbars and address bars make it all but useless.

    Here's an example:

Are there any plans to correct this? I love BC3 but it's practically useless.

Thanks for writing in. We are currently working on an OSX version of BC4. You can find some more information here or our Facebook page:

We're definitely taking Retina displays into account. We even have a couple of fixes in the next BC3 release to help with some of these issues. Please let us know how this looks for you after the next minor BC3 release. I tested on our laptop in the office and was able to reproduce the scrollbar issues, but had trouble reproducing the file path draw issue you are seeing.

For BC3, we also have Large Icons, which you can enable in the Tools menu -> Options, General section.
