Beyond Compare Requires Admin Rights

Hi

I am trying to Download Beyond Compare 3 and install it in my home system, does that require Admin Rights to Use it. because i am trying to Make it use from a Guest user, is Admin rights mandatory for normal comparison of files in the Local System.

No, BC3 does not normally need Admin rights to be run as a Guest user account (tested in Windows 7). Installing it would likely need elevated privileges.

Where did you install BC3? Did you install to the default location (C:\Program Files (x86)\Beyond Compare 3\) as a normal install? Or did you install as a Portable Install to another location the Guest account might not have access to?
