Transfer Speed of Beyond Compare v3

What is the average transfer speed of Beyond Compare v3? I am comparing the software with Vice Versa Pro which has the same concept. Does Beyond Compare has also a feature to increase the priority (speed) of copying files?

Hello,

Copying between local drives would use the same basic method as Windows Explorer, and you should see similar performance and compatibility between the two. You can increase a processes priority in the Task Manager, but I don't believe this would have an impact on speed unless you have other programs which are taking a majority of your computer's resources.

One Item I note that will affect transfer speed for remote computers is the type of transfer (SMB vs FTP say). I typically find that ftp transfers are faster because the smb server on my targets is not able to serve up (and has move overhead I think) files as fast as the ftp server.
