Hi!
I just wanted to use BC3 Build 456 in order to copy the content of a data-DVD to my USB-HD. That would be a little test for the Folder Sync feature I thought.
I selected the DVD-Drive (E:\) for left folder and a new folder on the USB-Device (F:\) as right Folder. After hitting the accept button BC3 started to enumerate the objects and teh volumina of the files to be synced.
But the result was a bit surprising for me: 581 files and folders with 6,58 GB of data.
But both, the windows Explorer and a parallely opened folder compare session told me, that there are only 3,29 GB of Data on the DVD. It seems, that the Sync session doubles the amount of data.
The effect is independent of which sync-methos is used (update or mirror).
Can anybody confirm this?
Bye
Christoph
