  • File enoding error in csv compare

I've got a file with these character's in: †and bc3 gives a "File encoding error", the file shows ok if I switch the encoding from utf-8 to ansi.

I wasn't getting this problem with bc2, and I'm a bit disappointed that the error message gave no clue to which line the problem was on.

BC2 didn't try to autodetect the file encoding. If you want to disable that in BC3 just modify the file format and change the "Encoding" setting from "Detect" to "Ansi". We're considering adding the line number for the encoding error in a future release.
