  • One side-only session?

Hi, I would like to be able to have a one side only view to do snapshot exploring and exporting to text format with "Folder compare report".

Not intended for comparisson this time but for snapshot management purposes. I think BC is a great tool to make directory listings but seems like it handles it to do folder comparissons all the time. So, if I do a HTML report I have the two sides when I would like to have only the first.

Also, I think it would be great to have an option to show folders in one side and files in the other, like windows commander.

    Thanks.

    Hello,

If you open just one side in a blank folder compare, you can use the Expand All command, and then the Select All Files command.
Then right click and select Copy Filename. Paste into a file for a complete directory listing.

If you have two sides open, and only want to capture one side, you can use the Shift+Left/Right Arrows to select one or both sides (press multiple times).

How does this work for you?
