Audio Compare

Are there plans for an Audio Compare that works on various file types, as does e.g. Picture Compare?

There have been a few requests for specific types and we have them on our Customer Wishlist. Our Wishlist is not currently scheduled development, but a place our developers go for ideas for future features or enhancements.

Here are mine: WAV, FLAC, WMA, MP3, M4A. Also nice would be AIFF, OGG, APE.

Please make provision for user-controlled alignment/mapping, to handle the various non-standards in use e.g. MP3 TPE2 <> FLAC AlbumArtist/Album Artist .
