    Hello Chris,

I tested this in 3.2.4 and I am not seeing the same behavior. If I open a new, blank Data Compare session, left click on the right side in the large white pane area, and then go to File, Open Clipboard, the focus remains on the right side. I can use the arrow keys to quickly hop between left and right sides. If I right click on the right side and select Open Clipboard, it also remains focused on the right side.

Which part of the Window are you currently left clicking in Step 1?

I cannot reproduce the described scenario, either (using Windows XP SP3).
      Everything works as expected ...

      Bye

I assume your build is the 13298 of my report.

        Here:

        And here's "Observed":

Thanks for the details, Chris. The missing step was to already have files loaded (a file on the left) for the focus to shift. I've reproduced the behavior and we'll investigate it.

Or a clipboard, as in my case.

            > for the focus to shift.

            Apologies for my omission.

            Thanks, Aaron.
