Is there any way to tget the difference panel (<<<note) to visually distinguish left features from right features?

Hello Chris,

No. BC3 does not support a visual distinction between left and right differences. When comparing two pictures, each position is compared and marked as either equal or different. Do you have an example of two pictures, and how you'd want the difference(s) to be marked?

Colour. E.g. a comparison mode that compressed the colour space of each side in to non-overlapping regions (e.g. blue corner and red corner) and then blended the two.
