XML comparison

Is there anyway to compare XML as proper "XML", rather than as just plain "text", i.e. things like knowing that <data></data> is equivalent to <data />

Hello,

XML is currently compared in the Text Compare session type. Improving the syntax awareness is on our wishlist, but in the meantime you would need to use a Conversion process which changes the text into a standard format. This alters the text, which if saved will then be in the new format.
