  • Ignore Last Line In a File

I have read how to ignore the first line in a file but there doesn't seem to be a way to ignore the last line in a file?

    Hello,

We do not have a grammar type for the Last Line of a file. Our supported types are listed here:
Beyond Compare is a multi-platform utility that combines directory compare and file compare functions in one package. Use it to manage source code, keep directories in sync, compare program output, etc.

Is there anything unique about this line? Usually it is a specifically formatted timestamp or page number, and those can be ignored with a "Basic" grammar type, with a Regular Expression.

The "Lines" grammar type has the option to start on Line 1. Please see the KB article and video for defined grammars and marking them as Unimportant.
