    In this one text file that we are comparing the only thing that changes on this one line is the date from day to day. We don't necessarily want to see that difference because we know it will be different from date to date because there is a field that uses the current date. So that will always be differnet on that specific line. Is there a way to set some configuration to make that ignored?

    Hello,

    BC3 can define a new grammar item to match on the specific date text or the larger line. Once defined, you can then make that grammar Unimportant to the comparison in the Session Settings, then in the main toolbar or View menu -> Ignore Unimportant Differences.
