Beyond Compare 3 Lost File Contents

I copied some text from one side of the comparison to the other, then refreshed the display at which point Beyond Compare asked me if I wanted to save the file data. I chose Yes, then the display refreshed.

Problem was, a major chunk of the file was missing. I was able to reproduce the problem consistently.

This was done on files in the DOS/OEM code page.

Unfortunately, this has gated my decision on whether to upgrade from BC2.

Hi Noel,

Thank you for the bug report. I'm don't understand what happened though. You were comparing two existing OEM files, used the "Copy to Other Side" command, then clicked Refresh, saved when it asked, and it somehow lost some of your file? What was missing? The bits you copied, the last half, a chunk in the middle? Can you email us a copy of the files involved so we can try to reproduce it?

Yes, you have the sequence right. On two occasions the last half of the file was missing. On one occasion some lines from the middle were missing.
