  • first line of changed section

Can I change the position of where the 'current line' appears when I do 'next diff section'? BC3 behaves different from BC2. In BC2 the page 'flipped' only when the next section was beyond the current page. In BC3 it scrolls every time and the current line is the last visible line, which I find very inconvenient.

    Possible solution:

Select Tools > Options, switch to the "File Views > Text" page, and change the Number of context lines to 0.

      Thanks

Don't you think that the 'next difference' should be positioned no lower than the middle of the page? Typically it is the beginning of a block of changes, and one needs to see the rest, almost without exception.

        actually

for me the solution was to set the number of context lines to some small number. It was set to 99 for some reason, and this seems to be interpreted as an asymmetrical constraint on the positioning.
