Ability to "re-sequence" two files...

Hello... first time, long time... yadda yadda yadda...

Got a strange request... I have two .conf files for pieces of software... the problem is that the data I need to compare between the two of them do not line up _at all_. For instance, one block of data could potentially be on line 100 and the other on line 1037...

Is there a way that anyone knows where I can re-sequence the files so that I can see more easily than "copy one side to notepad, look up other side, compare values by sight"??

BTW, love BC... been using it for years.

If your data consists of single lines that can be reorganized, you could use our built in Sort external conversion to resort your entire file line by line (alphabetically).

That'll work in a way... I'm dealing with the conf files from a couple of load balancers... I'll have to take some time to retro-fit the resx file parser on CodeProject (thanks for that BTW) and see if I can get it to work with these Envoy files.
