  • Two files compare from command line in linux.

Trying to use BC3 Pro in linux to compare two files with -qc option. bcompare gives nothing as result. I've found in help that result of this comparing is set to DOS Error Levels... but how can I use it in linux?

    Thank you and best regards,
    Oleg

    Hi Oleg,

I've just tested it using bash: The variable $? gets filled with the returncodes I expect. Can you please post your input and output? What shell are you using?

    Bye
