    Hello,

BC3 does not support a conditional grammar item. We can define the whole line as you have done, and mark it as unimportant or important, or define specific parts of the line, such as columns 30-40 for any line, and mark it as unimportant.

Do you have sample files you could send us? Please send to [email protected] and include a link back to this forum post. We may also be able to help you setup a Data Compare session with your files, which may meet your needs.

    Any idea:
in lines that match "^\d\d\.\d\d\.\d\d\d\d.*$", columns 30-40 are "not important".

    How to configure this?

    thanks
    for your help
