If user has "Go to next difference after copying to other side" enabled and gutter clicks a single line in a multi-line difference section, then a green copy to other side button appears on the toolbar.

Current functionality: If user clicks the button and copies the line, the green button disappears.

Suggested functionality: Move the custom one-line selection to the next difference line and leave the green copy to other side button on the toolbar.

This enhancement would allow a user to do a quick on-the-fly switch to copy line mode and click the toolbar button x number of times to copy x number of lines.

Is the main goal of this request to make it quicker/on-the-fly?

Similar behavior can be accomplished by clicking the File Formats button, and in the Misc tab mark that "Lines are independent". Do you find that you need to take individual lines for one section, but not for others, for specific file types?

Yes, the goal of this suggestion is to make to tool more flexible on-the-fly. A simple click off of the highlighted line (or a press of the up or down arrow) will return the compare to "copy section" mode.
