  • How to compare Open/Libre Office Data Bases

    Hi,

if I try to compare to Libre/Open office database files (.odb), I get the message, that Beyond compare recognizes the Openoffice file format, but the comparison results in two empty sides in the text view window. Both databases are actually different, but only for a small amount of data.
    Am I doing something wrong?

Best thanks for your help in advance

    Hello,

Open Office files should open using an external conversion process after downloading and installing an additional file format from our website (assuming Windows install):

Are you using the latest version of BC3 (3.2.4)? All BC3.x updates are free for 3.x users, and can be downloaded here:

If you are still having trouble, please email us at [email protected] and include a link back to this forum post. Please also include:
    - Your BCSupport package from the Help menu -> Support, Export.
    - A pair of sample .odb files.
