OC tag at the end of the line

Good morning, I'm a new user so this maybe a silly question. I'm comparing 2 text files, I noticed several lines within the files have the same data, however they are flagged as differences and have a square box with the 'OC' inside the box. What does this mean and how can I ignore it since the data are the same?

It sounds like those files have some binary information (hex characters) inserted into the file, that are not normally visible or valid text input. Is this character within the text or only at the very end?
