Bug: side horizontal scrollbar some times missing

For a file that has some long lines and some short lines, there is no horizontal scrollbar when cursor is on short line, so one have to move the cursor to the long line to be able to scroll the end of the long line in to view even though both lines are in view

Which version of BeyondCompare is this? There was a bug like that, but it seems to be fixed in 4.0.0.18510.

Version 4.0 beta (build 18291)

Note: Beyond Compare did not tell about that new version until I just now pressed "Help > Check for Updates", could it be that Beyond Compare has been running for a couple of days?

Beyond Compare's default behavior is to only check every 7 days for an update. This is controlled in the Options dialog, Tweaks section.
