I recall there was a plan to allow a grammar item to be defined to handle e.g. this http://www.scootersoftware.com/vbull...ad.php?t=13360 without the need for a new file format. I don;t find this in the current beta. Did I miss it?

Thanks. Trying that, but no joy:

Is this intentional? I'd hoped "Never align differences" and "These settings define items that are important to the comparison." refer to the same comparison operation.

Hello,
That screenshot is of defining a grammar item. The "Unimportant" box above the grammar list (currently empty) is the adhoc location.
You would need two definitions. One for ".." and one for "R:" to mark both as unimportant, so they aren't a difference that can't be aligned.Aaron P Scooter Software

An appropriate noun would be clearer, I think. E.g. "Unimportant items" or "Unimportant strings". And at http://i.imgur.com/83R1ZHu.png , the dialog title should accord.

That works great: http://i.imgur.com/p3xSw5a.png
Thanks.
Suggestion: for this, add a right-click command analogous to "Replacement..." e.g. "Unimportant string...".Last edited by chrisjj; 12-Aug-2014, 05:50 PM.
