Using BC4 in Git.

  • Using BC4 in Git.

    I'm brand new to using Git and I changed the preferences and selected the pathname to BC4. When I view the history of a file and try to view the differences BC4 doesn't launch. Being a total noob to Git I'm quite happy to accept it's my fault and I've possibly spooked something. My direct question is: could anyone confirm they've got BC4 usable in Git?

    If the answer is, yes, it does work, then I know I can persevere trying to get it to work when I've got some more Git air miles under my belt. TIA.

    Git does indeed diff the files with BC4. Result!

      Yup, you'll just need to use a command that will launch the configured git difftool (or use "git difftool" as the command directly) to launch BC4.

      This assumes you've configured it matching our recommended specs, here:
