important vs unimportant difference in image compare

Hi.
I have introduced BC to the organisation that I currently am working for.
I have done this a number of times in other places, primarily for text comparison. The current requirement is for image comparison
They are interested, but I have received a question regarding the criteria used to determine what are important differences.
Can someone help please?

Hello,

The Picture Compare's display mode can control Importance. In Tolerance Mode, there is a Tolerance slider. If the pixel value differences are within the tolerance, then it is Unimportant; if it is outside the defined range then it is Important. You could set the Tolerance to 0 if needed, or from the Folder Compare use a Binary scan for a full file scan.
