  • Options window not resizable

Could you please make the options/settings window resizable? Some of the sections like customizing toolbar commands have large lists, so being able to resize the window to see more info on the screen is a big help.

Also, I don't like the way miscellaneous settings are all lumped together in the "Tweaks" section. First of all, the term "tweaks" implies that they are more like hacks than miscellaneous options. Why not have each of those sub-sections ("Check for Updates", "Editor Display", etc) as their own section in the left pane? Even better if the sections in the left pane were nested in a tree, so all those sub-sections could be under a parent section called "Misc". You know, kind of exactly like it was in BC 3.

Resizing the options dialog is on our feature wish list for a future version of Beyond Compare.

To better find commands, the Options dialog does have a search box that will highlight the section of matching commands and the command name within each section. The Toolbars, etc section also has its own search box to search for specific commands.

BC3 had a hidden Tweaks dialog you could open using the Control+Shift+T keyboard shortcut. BC4 made this into an Options dialog section, and it also moved some of the more obscure or advanced options settings into that section.

Ah, so it does. I never knew that!
But still, the options in that hidden dialog were at least grouped into tabs. They're all just crammed onto one pane in BC4.

True that it is one list, although we added a highlight text search to all Settings, which should help narrow and find specific options.
