Beyond Compare 4 opens very slow after upgrade

Today, I purchased and upgraded my Beyond Compare from 4.1.8 to 4.1.9. But it starts very slow. It takes about 15 seconds to show up the main Window. Usually is instant.

I tried install for all user and portable version. Both are the same, slow.
I also tested on three different computers, all with i7, ssd.
1. Professional Windows 7, English language. Start very fast.
2. Ultimate Windows 7, Simplified Chinese. Start very slow.
3. Professional Windows 10, English with Simplified Chinese language pack. Start very slow.

I don't know if this issue is related to language.

It might be a timeout while Beyond Compare is trying to check for software updates. To disable the automatic check for updates, open Tools > Options. Go to the Tweaks section. Under Check for Updates, uncheck Check every.

It still happens. It is fast at 4.1.8. So I switch back to 4.1.8.

Are you running the Chinese translated build? Could you shut down 4.1.9, rename/remove the .tr file in the install directory, then relaunch? Is this also slow? Also, please reboot your machine and retest.

Is there any antivirus or firewall running you could temporarily disable? They might be flagging this specific version. And also double check that the Check for Updates option is still disabled.
