  • Execute Linux commands after SFTP login.

My corporate Linux machines are setup so that I login with my low priv user then I sudo to the high privilege user.

When I setup a connection in Putty or WinSCP I can specify a command to execute after the initial login which results in my Putty or WinSCP session accessing the files as the second high privilege user.

Is something like this possible with BeyondCompare 4? (i have a BCP 4 license)

I urgently need to compare file systems across my Linux machines and BCP seems the easiest way to to this .

    Thanks
    Graham

Sorry, Beyond Compare doesn't support changing from a low privilege to high privilege user after SFTP login (su or sudo). It is on our feature request list for a future version but it doesn't have a set release date.
