Copy/Delete in 3-Way Folder Merge

Is there anyway to copy left/right when in the folder merge view? If not I would like to request that feature be added in.

Thanks for the suggestion. No, the Folder Merge session does not allow editing of the inputs (Left, Right, and Center/Ancestor), and is designed to merge into the 4th Output location. Double clicking a text file can launch a child Text Merge session, which also functions this way (only the Output allows editing).

A 3-way Folder Compare session type, where the 3 folders are equally weighted and editable, is something on our long-term wishlist (where our developers go for ideas for future features and enhancements), but not a project we'll be able to tackle short-term.

Update: if you set the Output Merge To: field to "Left" or "Right" this exposes additional context commands in the right click menu that allow editing of that side directly (copying a selected file into the Output:Left, or deleting a file in Output:Left, for example). The non-output side is still write protected, but how does this work for you?
